The XR vending machine allows consumers to purchase Coca-Cola products while taking full advantage of the WeChat mobile payment solution to offer exclusive online promotions on top of the consumer's first desire. The use of XR technology aims to bring a unique entertaining shopping experience in line with Coca-Cola’s brand spirit.

As most consumers in China are very mature when it comes to e-commerce and mobile-first shopping behavior, Coca-Cola China and KOLAb developed a pilot product to reduce the gap between the physical retail environment and online shopping.
